| The moderator of our guest panel of authors was MARY ALICE MONROE local resident and author of The Book Club, Sweetgrass, The Beach House, The Four Seasons, Girl in the Mirror and Skyward. Her newest book, TURTLE SUMMER, A Journal For My Daughter is a children's book with photography by Barbara Bergwerf. It's the story of a mother-daughter relationship and events of a summer on our island. TURTLE SUMMER is a companion to her new novel, SWIMMING LESSONS, which is the sequel to The Beach House.
